  I'm sure eBay are kicking themselves now for all the anti-Amazon promotions they have had to fund recently. I doubt they will be overly generous in the near future as they have little to worry about.

  Last December there was 20% off various categories. I remember buying a Phantom Drone and made a big big saving.
