LinkedIn Feedback & Makeovers - Freebie for OzBargain

Hey Everyone,

I found LinkedIn useful for a dynamic and versatile resume online.

After realising I have a knack for tuning up and making over LinkedIn profiles, I wanted to offer my services as a freebie!

In return this will help me structure out my commericalisation and feasibility for whether it's worth doing and how much it will cost.

An example of mine is available here (always welcome to feedback too!)

Update:

I've been overwhelmed with the support, an additional queue has been added and will be batched throughout the month.

My friend, @megasaletime, is heavily experienced in HR, workshops and presentations. He's offered his time with the profiles and also resumes here.

TLDR:

LinkedIn for best effort queue (31-100 profile requests) via this form

  • while I don't feel I need one, I would recommend people to get on this. In the past 2-3 years, i have had quite a few offers from LinkedIn.

  • Hope I'm not late. Please add me too.

  • would also love this, if there are any spots left?

  • I'm also keen.

    Thanks for doing this.

  • Again, thank you everyone for your support. All requests will be worked on, giving priority to the initial 30. The form on the front page is available for all to use and I will do my best effort to get them done accordingly.

This week started queuing work, revewing resumes and profiles to then deliver on feedback this coming week.

I might be delayed due to mid-sem exams, but for any questions or updates, please email me.

I know it's been a while and I'm following through on an update on what's been happening:

    1. I had initially worked with a few dozen LinkedIn resumes. Feedback given, but overall, I've learnt a lot and I'm sure many are overdue for review.

    2. After some time consulting and taking opportunities in my age, I decided to make a significant jump between careers. I'm now in Business Development! Happy to give more context as to why, but started to align with my gaps and overall strategy.

    3. Life happened. I know it's pretty cliched, but both audeamus and I went through some significant changes that helped us to be better people in the long run. Personally, I've changed direction and focus, ultimately placing my energy on work that allows me to network and help people.

    4. Audeamus ended up setting up a NFP that directly addresses what we intended to do through workshops and causes, primarily aimed at younger individuals, but heavily influenced doing things like this (in person and with less lead time).

    5. Our intention of this is to still follow through, irrespective of our time of delivery, but Feel free to reach out nonetheless.

    6. Finally, I've personally looked into using tools that improve productivity and reduce the time dredding either cultivating or nurturing leads and profile

This will likely be updated as a new thread with advice, but thank you to everyone who reached out last time!
