Noticed in the JB-HiFi "Top 100+ Gifts" Newspaper/Catalogue that the Red DJI Spark Fly More Combo is priced at $649, while in store it is $949. Went to local JB and while they acknowledge it is a pricing error, they did indeed honour the price.
Best price I have seen for this in a local store.

Great price, you could try call Officeworks and sent them a link to the picture of this to get it for $616.55 or use discounted JB gift cards to get it even cheaper.
It's still $949 on the website. Surely it's a misprint on the catalogue, on the website catalogue it's $949.

These days you need to have a smartwatch that updates constantly with OzBargain posts to see them in record time, stop working and leave your workplace, hop in your car and beat the traffic, then get to Officeworks in a pool of sweat with your best convincing tone… then price match them.
If you don't do this, people will attempt to buy it before you, online stocks will run out, and price-error would be posted early enough for Officeworks to check it. You won't end up getting it price-beaten, or price-matched, or even buy from Online. And if you're lucky enough to get it online, there's a chance you might get a refund and a message telling you it was a price-error.
That is an AMAZING price for local stock, if you can get it!!!!
Purchased one with the last 20% off sales from Ebay and total was about $815AUD for AUS stock.

Why get this over the Mi Drone 4k apart from it being smaller?
Resell it for normal price and buy the 4k plus accessories

It's in newspaper format, available outside most JB stores.
I think there is a note up at JB stores saying this is a misprint and it’s actually for the stand alone drone, not the combo.
They may honor the misprint anyway, since it's december and the stores will usually be fighting for sales figures. Unless their head office or manager asks them not to.
If they’ve got notices up that’s a good sign that they won’t be.

Rang OW who couldn't find it online and said I'd have to take it to my local store for them to check. Ah well, nearest store is 30mins away so will have to wait till tomorrow. I don't like my chances though.
Went to my jb, they acknowledged price error and will not be honouring.
I've been to 3 JB's in last couple of days. All of them have signs up saying it a misprint and they won't honor the deal.

Yeah it seems to be dependent on the store. While my local JB did suggest there was a sign detailing the mistake, they did not have one hence had to honour it.
Website now updated with 'proper' price.

I’m new to drones, what’s the drawback of buying Spark standalone without this extra pack?
Extra battery, controller, pair of props and a carry bag. Wont be able to fly it for a fair distance without the controller.

The controller can be purchased separately (along with most/all the other stuff in the "Fly More" pack).
Without controller, you use just your mobile phone. This limits signal strength and therefore range.
What I'm trying to say is: The controller is essential.

Price error. I have confirmed that with a friend working for JB.
I think mostly JB would honor misprinted price if it is still above their cost margin, otherwise not a chance.

I asked in store , the told me to order it at full price and when it arrives, they will price match it. I'm not certain they will honour it when it arrives, so I didn't pull the trigger and take a chance.

I went to jbhifi Frankston. They acknowledge the mistake and offered me $835 as an apology. I declined and walked away.
I went t`o JB HiFi Frankston and didn't make it into the store as I was stabbed twice before I could get from the carpark into the store. Rough area.
