730

Another nandos deal is once again upon us and looks like a pretty decent one :)

From what I can tell, there is a unique barcode in your Peri Perks account that you will get them to scan to get this deal.

Thanks to Nick123 @ TB for finding this.

  • Are the socks good quality ?I have enough points!

I'm so tempted! But seems one size only? I have big feet, not chicken legs.

  • Based on the deal you "borrowed" from it's a physical voucher.

    • I don't believe so, same wording here and it's just showing the app/barcode to redeem.

      • Time will tell. It's not on my account… yet.

        • I think it may be a WTF deal and start tomorrow from what I can tell.

Not sure if anyone has noticed but seems like a lot of nandos stores have closed.

    • +1

Not surprising, the prices keep going up and up. They only really started doing these deals lately and they've been a bit hit and miss. Nothing like the old whole chicken, large chips and 1.25L coke for $20.95 though.

    • They had no choice as they couldn't evict the damn rats squatters.

      • Bourke and Russell in melb cbd was nandos and has turned into a maccas after they closed ….

Considering kfc give free chips and drink if you fill out survey seems tgese places need to keep under $10 for a meal to be competitive.

        • Yeah that's right. When you can always get a burger, 3 sides and two chips for 6.95, or the occasional 9 for 9.95 plus survey, or 15 wings for 10 it gets hard to compete.

Can't go for the fancy label anymore

        • @ZubatRingo: I don't think the average fast food consumer knows how to get those deals.

Nandos is expensive for what you get, but for me the kicker is that it takes a long time for them to make your meal. If I take a half hour lunch break, it will be 20 minutes before I can finally start eating.

        • @lostn: hmmmm maybe it's a ploy to get the customer to think that since the food took long, it's high quality. Haha

Ridiculously tiny chicken portions that seems common place doesn't help them.

      • oh but the peri-peri chips…. omnomnomnom….

      • That too with the bones taking up close to half the weight/volume.

      • Sums it up for me. I've been to stores where you could say they cook it well and present well, like it's not messily cooked and dumped on a plate, but you can only do so much when you literally only have a few small bits of chicken and nothing else, all costing a pretty penny. Throw in the side of chips or salad as standard and may seem more reasonable …

  • Sitting at a Nando’s now and can confirm the chips offer works.
    Accessed it via the app.

On a side note, haven’t been to Nando’s in a couple years, and far out the burgers have gotten way smaller! The chicken in the burger is also a lot smaller.
    Rip off.

    • Awesome news about it working fine, was a bit in the dark but glad it came through, not good news about the sizing though..

      • Do you only have to scan your PP card to get it?

I use your link and it makes no mention of such a deal.

Right now I have some 4 tier offer which you have to unlock one step at a time. First offer was some free garlic pita which tasted nice but was small. Second is a free regular side.

  • My unlocked offer 3 hasn't worked in 2 different stores since Sat, so I don't have this on my app -_-

    • +1

It should be fixed now… it was a problem with all members on offer 3.

  • I can't see this offer on my app. I've got the member barcode and an offer (probably one of several) for a mini garlic pita.

    • Same. It's looking targeted.

    • me too, only have the mini garlic pita. Shame I was going to go to nandos but not now.

    • yep also have this and not the chips offer

  • Seems that when you unlock the small pita bread week 1 offer in WA you get week 2’s offer of large side. I have now unlocked the week 3 offer which is 4 tenderloins. Once I have used that I hope the offer might be a complimentary meal for week 4 but that might be a bit too optimistic. Overall these are pretty good deals I think. I have now started going to Nandos with these deals, prior to this I wouldn’t go near the place as previously poor value for money IMO.
