They’re both cheaper at TGG for tonight:

      Get Sony 55x9000e, better TV.

I know not relate to these lower models, but Samsung really has rocks in their heads with their QLED pricing. How they believe they can charge much more than an OLED is beyond me.

I even saw their large size (unsure if QLED) nearing $30k. Sony's equivalent was around $10-15k and LG has a 77" Wallpaper for $30k. How they'd expect sales when their competitors are that much better is beyond me.

    • People are stupid. For consumers like us, who shop around and research before they buy - obviously won't be buying. But I'd say a good amount of people would purchase simply because of the price tag, they associate $$$ = quality. This TV is more expensive has brand new QLED tech, therefore must be better right?

      • That's exactly why I think they price it like that. No different to Microsoft with their Surface range, or anything Apple really.

If LG have a wallpaper TV that's priced similar, no one should try compete with it. It's clearly on a whole new level of quality.

    KS 2016 > MU 2017

just saying. (by a large margin)

    • so last years OZB favourite, KS8000 is superior to this MU8000?

        More PROS for KS

MU8000 has better pixel response time, so probably better for motion blur.

KS8000 better colour tech, better black tech, better HDR engine.

        Yes.

Series 9 65" $1 cheaper at Hardly Normal. When JB first started out they had good prices, now they are just like everybody else. But with sales staff who usually don't know anything about what they are selling and think they are awesome.
