Been searching for a deal on KSM160's all Dec and managed to snag a pickup @ $559.20. Also do not for get free attachment offer (https://www.kitchenaidpromotions.com.au/) not 100% sure if this is eligible however.
I took a look at these in store in Myer recently and the build quality was very poor. Every one on display had parts of the main body with gaps where they didn't meet or join properly.
Put me off.

Anyone who knows, Is this mixer entirely produced in the USA?
The mixer is made in the USA but the bowls are made in Korea.

It has "Made in the USA" written on the silver edge band around the machine. There is nothing more specific anywhere on the machine or in the instruction book about where the motor and gear box are made, I assumed they were made in the USA when I purchased it but I cannot be sure now.

Should be a definite for the claim. I had no issues purchasing from the Peters of Kensington ebay store to get the attachment with a similar promotion previously.
