  • What does it usually sell for?

Edit: NVM selling for $49 @ JB

i like plucking my nose hairs individually with tweezers, so I will pass on this product

      Thanks for letting us know.

Do you prefer to pluck slow or fast?

    • +1

Do tears come out from eyes (or from somewhere else)…?

    • agree, trimming the nose hairs isn't very effective. They grow back too quickly compared to plucking. It doesn't hurt badly after a while.

      • +2

Trimming your nosehairs with a silly style of clipper like this isn't effective. If you have a trimmer that works it's a 60 second job …

      • nose hairs are there for a reason, to filter dust etc before they hit your lungs so I wouldn't get rid of all of them

    • +1

do you use tweezers around your anus as well?

      • +2

        no, i wax

        • You should try pulling them out instead.

      • yes its actually quite satisfying. but since I am not flexible it is easier to just shave

    • I use cocaine to get rid of my nose hairs.

Very effective and has positive side effects

[EDIT] Correction below.. Seems like the free nose trimmer is Series 1000, the below trimmer is series 3000..

Seems like the nose trimmer alone is $19.95? (lowest at $16.15 as some point?) (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Philips-NT3160-Nose-Trimmer-…)

    Very tempting buy!

My nostrils are bristling in anticipation!

I just picked up a set of these two weeks ago at Harvey Norman for $24.95 C&C. They work really well. They are light and quiet and the 5 year warranty is awesome (they only offer 2 years for their battery models).

The included nose trimmer seems to work fine.

Better off getting a circular design nose trimmer, got this model last week and its awful. Hard to get in a lot of spots.

    • thanks for the feedback!, I thought this design would provide a closer trim compared to the circular design.

    • I've got a circular one but always misses the longer hairs, was considering this as a replacement :( Oh no.

  • Do you need to oil these to keep them going?

  • Useful for keeping a short beard?

  • Nose trimmer? Ow. Spose that's how people get chiseled noses

  • …after … new hair clippers…my current ones are on their last legs

…please pass them through the @Scab function and collect your new clippers at the other end. Next!

  • thanks op. no more changing sizes now!

  • Seems like you can buy the clippers online directly from The Good Guys as well - possibly it could be faster for store pickup compared to Ebay store purchase?

  • Are these any good? Do they cut well? I have a few clippers and they pull on the hair if I move too fast. And those are already $100 wahl clippers.

    • These don't cut faster than any Wahl set I've used.

  • Nose trimmer appears to be series 1000 whilst they now sell series 3000 nose trimmers

Word of caution when using these clippers for the first time - double the value you are used to getting at barber and then work your way down to a shorter cut :)
The number system on the clippers to adjust cut length goes from 1 through 23 and increments in 2.
I assumed a safe 7 would give me a nice thick cut, it came out more like a 3 blade at a barber.

In terms of clipper quality - they are OK. I've had better clippers from Philips.
That being said, you would pay this price to sit in a barbers chair for just 1 hair cut.

  • Just bought this this morning online, spewing..
