Haven't tried this particular brand but be cautious - I've seen plenty of Micro-USB to USB-C adaptors melt, especially when fast charging. They seem to be a weak point - personally I'd much rather buy a new cable instead

same here - doesn't charge s8, instead the phone starts to reverse charge whatever was plugged in through this adaptor.

This doesn't charge my phone even when it's connected to the charger. It just says connected via USB. I didn't even try if it will be able to transfer files as I'm a bit scared it will damage my phone's port. Even the 2 pcs one is the same. One of those "you get what you pay for".
