Switch Game Discounts on Boxing Day

Hi Guys,

I would like to buy super mario odyssey and Disgaea 5, cheapest i can find them now is $69(jb hifi) and $68(eb games) respectively.
Do you guys think these prices go lower on boxing day ? i don't mind buying them now if they only go down a few dollars on boxing day
and also when eb games and jb hifi release their boxing day catalogues ?

    I don't know, but if you want to play those games you could just buy them at EB games now and return them under change of mind by mid January (I think the cutoff is 12 January). Since the save files are on your Switch not the cartridge (like Pokémon on 3DS) you have nothing to lose by returning the game and buying it again later for a cheaper price. Free game rental!!!

    Super Mario Odyssey is unlikely to go down ever - this is the Nintendo way. Check the price of the Nintendo games on WiiU - they're still full price years after release. They're kind of like the Apple of consoles.

    $69 from JB for a Nintendo game is a pretty good price.

    You might get them 10% cheaper from Amazon on boxing day if you have an amex or nab.

    IMO unlikely to make a huge difference - if you're craving to play on Christmas day, may as well buy it now.

    (that being said, I didn't expect GT Sport to drop so fast)
