Currently own a Dyson and it blows, by that I mean it’s shit house. Saw the Miele in JB the other day, quieter, more powerful more portable. Probably going to pickup the CX1 Cat & Dog at some stage. Only decent product from Dyson lately has been the hand sticks. Their other stuff is just over priced and overly loud. Our 15 year old Dyson outperforms the newer model, it’s also louder too. However, the Miele is so damn quiet, it’s great.

    • Picked up a V8 absolute on a previous deal and was only just able to complete vacuuming my 4 dr sedan.

Next time I'll be doing the floor mats on the mains vacuum and everything else with the hand stick.

Best thing about the hand stick is portability and maneuverability imo.

I reckon the hand sticks are complete rubbish, I can got over my tiles and carpet with a hand stick then go over it will my Miele and the amount of crap the Miele picks up after the hand stick is incredible. The hand stick is a waste of money and time.

      • Yep, agreed. Handstick portability is great. Suction is quite weak though, especially without a cleaning head (just the nozzle). It's actually useless without a motor head.

    • Agree. I've never had much love for our Dyson whatever-it-is, the only upshot to it being average is our Xiaomi robovac "Woodhouse" gets a good run because it's more comperable than it would be to a decent vacuum :)

  • Rather than waiting for rebates, buy it at bing lee using ebay's 10% "PUNCH" code at final $538.20 (save $9 off additional from this price if you are able to click and collect, additional 1% rebate if via cashrewards to search for this listing). Sharing is caring :). Happy boxing day!
