Reading further software update helped but still significant lag and it looks like 4k is 30 hz limited.
theres also comments immediately after that saying a firmware update improved it dramatically.
how much tho its our take on it, still i imagine its considerably more lag than normal pc monitor.
It's a downgrade to go to 30hz, laggy and oversized for a computer monitor.
I bought one of these to use as a computer monitor, ended up returning it since it was quite sub-optimal for it.

I am tempted to get one for a non-gaming monitor to save me running 3 separate monitors. Im worried about chroma 3.3.3 or whatever they say you need for clear text. I'm not worried about a bit of lag for editing and spreadsheets.
Do not buy it as a monitor. Running windows at 30Hz is not good.
