Appears to have been leaked on Sony's playstation account - came up in my newsfeed that the PS Plus January 2018 line-up will be headlined by:

      Assuming you "purchase" the games every month, you keep them for as long as your PS+ subscription lasts. If your subscription expires, you can't play them, but if you re-subscribe at a later date, all your purchased PS+ games will be available to play again.

    Guys, I'm new to this. I bought my son a PS4 for xmas, I'm a PC gamer so I know little of the ways of the console peasant (hehe jks). I think I had to pay for a years subscription to Playstation Plus ($79?) just so he could play Minecraft online… :S (am I right, or did I get things wrong). I'm used to playing online for free…

    So we now have a Plus yearly subscription, what are the perks? Do you get game titles for free on certain months? Do they expire? Does it last forever? Curious minds want to know!

      A PSN Plus subscription is required for online multiplayer on the PS4. You also get cloud storage for save files & exclusive offers on PSN Store.
      In regards to the monthly games, provided that you download them within the month they're offered, they're yours to keep until your PSN subscription expires. You will get access to those games again if you renew your subscription at a later date.

        You don’t need to download the games, just add to cart and “purchase” for $0. They are then saved in your library so you can download later. Otherwise HDD will fill up very quickly.

      i just noticed Psycho-pass PS4 is now also free for Plus members. I don't think it was listed originally as i grabbed the other plus games for this month already.
