  • Samsung MU6103 vs Samsung MU6100?

    • +1

Samsung MU6103 basic unit vs Samsung MU6100 has Bluetooth and the smart remote

      • Same panel tho :)

Also these were $1515 just the other day anyway..

        • +2

For the 65" probably not the 75"
That would have been fantastic value for a quality name brand 75" to be ~ $1.5k

        • @Radio8tiv: Derp !!! thats right I haven't had my coffee yet :) they were $2515 whoops

  • out of these two, what would you go for?

i've always been a Samsung fanboi , well before they got into smartphones ( all my whitegoods are samsung) but Im hearing good things about the Hisense N7's.

I need good performance in all light conditions. no sluggish remotes or average sound. Not too fussed with the 1yr vs 3 yr warranty as I can neg an extended warranty.

    • I'm told HiSense is more capable than the Sammy one

  • The Hisense is the better TV. You're comparing flagship Hisense with lower end Samsung. I'd get the N7 in heartbeat. I look at it every time I am at the shops and it's such a good TV.

    • Current Hisense Flagship is Series 9 in 75" and series 8 in 65". N7 is a little older technology.

  • Sadly no HDR on this TV.

  • seems HN cheaper

  • Was sold one of these TVs before Xmas paid $1098. They are a very basic tv with a very average panel. lots of blocking in dark scenes.TV speakers are crap. good range of apps though.
I have played with settings but no real improvements. No HDR even though Harvey Norman sold it to us saying it has HDR. For us, I hope the TV blows up so we can get a better model. But for now, it's in the kid's room connected to a ps4. I do NOT recommend this TV. lesson learned i guess.

    • You get what you paid for, simple really.

      • yes, I agree. should have looked into it more but as it was a 'new' model there wasn't much to go on except the smooth-talking salesmen. like I said, lesson learned. rubs salt in the wound though when less than 2 weeks later it was 400 bucks cheaper…

    • You got this particular 75” model for $1098?

  • checked out the n7 compared to the sammy 6103 and the picture quality was nowhere near the hisense. Was about to pull the trigger on the N7 but they wanted an extra $79 for delivery despite offering to pick it up from their shop myself, next week. I thought the sales person was taking the piss. I walked. Are they just purely box-shippers these days? Why the hell do they still insist on buy at bricks and mortar shops ?
Do ppl agree to this bs?
