If I was to say what it compares too….maybe a Blue Moon with a slice of orange? - has that same Coriander, Orange Zest flavour.
Yep, absolutely hated the taste of this. I love coriander and I love orange, but together … nope .. much prefer the original. Suggest people try before they invest in a slab.
What are you talking about, this is the original, it's the same beer they've updated the label. The original as brewed since 1445 has the coriander and orange peel.

But this isn't regular Hoegaarden, it's Hoegaarden White.
What are you talking about, this is the original, there are different labels presuming the one for non European countries has "White" printed on it. For people that havn't tasted it no id doesn't taste like there is sprigs or corainader in it, it's a subtle accent.
It is delicious. It's nothing like a regular lager, probably the most similar is Blue Moon as above, but this is better!

I believe this is the same price at docklands as well.
It's my favourite summer beer. I don't have a Costco membership - can I tag along with a friend, or is it like Scientology - no outsiders allowed.
A Costco member can bring up to 2 non-members into the store with them, but only members are allowed to purchase items. So the member would have to pay for your items, and then you fix them up afterwards.
Either that or get a membership, buy your cheap beer, then get your membership refunded. Keep in mind that you can only join and cancel once every two years I believe.

Interesting. There seems to be no solid time period on this perhaps. In this comment thread https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/342310/comments some people mention 6 months, 2 years. There is nothing on the Costco website about the length of time you are barred from re-applying.
my friend was told 1 year from the cancellation date if someone cancels during membership period. If someone lapsed the renewal date then it's ok to rejoin straight away
Never tried it but anything that sounds like "hoe Garden" im willing to try!
