          I never understood feet or inch fractions. I know they're divisible by 8 and not 10 so decimals are weird. But 8 divisions of a foot isn't precise enough. What if you need 3 and half eighths? 3.5/8? Or would you have to write that as 7/16ths of an inch?

    I believe I bought this once from Haymarket for $5. It broke even with gentle use. It is built badly and the wires were exposed at the joint even though I am very careful not to bend cords. This was the worst cable I have ever bought which is why they are selling it cheap!

          Cables need to be insulated even if it is only a few mm of plastic and there is always a chance of electrocution when plugged in to the AC.

          I may be paranoid by nature but at least I am still around after many years on this planet.

          @indomie: That's a fault with the power supply, not with the cable. In which case the phone would be also live and you would make contact with the LV end at some point anyway.
