Do you set up a secondary email for all these competitions? It's what I did, to try avoid my main one getting spammed. But I still ended up with spam in my main account. I guess I stuffed up somewhere lol. Does Unsubscribing from the spam risk you missing out on winning? Or not receiving the announcement you've won?@nuttapillar: I normally do but I'm checking the Prusa shop on a daily basis hoping for a free shipping deal or something and got excited. Also considering spending half that on a CR-10s cause I want it now. Also, in may excitement I may have overlooked some sort of commit to mailing list in the entry process before I backed out.
I use gmail so I just load up the old interface and create filters based on sender when anything gets annoying, with sites like Light in the Box the unsubscribe does nothing and you get 50 emails a day from the spam bot but the shipping info etc comes from a different address.
You can set stuff to delete, just mark as read so you don't get notified or even auto forward to the CEO for example.
