I actually got one with a JB deal for quite a bit off when getting other things at the same time. The mouse is really good and a massive improvement on the 3S which the soft material was getting sticky and glossy for me. I don't have a use for the haptic thingo but the mouse material choices are a great improvement.
I have a 3S. My biggest complaints with it are that you can't clean it without pulling it apart. Once apart you can't get the sticky pads back where they belong, so end up having to source replacement ones. I'd also rather that the wheel didn't have the button function also, as its annoying when it gets accidentally locked down. Not sure if either have been fixed on the 4 version.
That's a no to the button (still there) and I doubt you'd be able to clean this thoroughly without stripping it, but I think a good surface clean should do it now that it's hard plastic on most of it.
@bozzonac: Thanks for that. I only posted negative aspects, but overall the mouse is okay, it's that I have two hands that don't work very well due to injury. I can feel the drag on the wheel build up over time until I can't handle it any longer. When I open it up, there's always a buildup of lint and crud that needs to be cleaned out to return it to normal. I used to use the mouse from the Logitech MK550 set (and I still do on another PC). I find that mouse gets by without the maintenance level of the 3S. Good luck all.
