    So early!

  • +4

'about time an iTunes disc came up. Now there will probably be 4 of them like it's nbd.

    Thanks for early notice.

    • +1

Great, would be nice if he got a + too.

    • +1

You might be able to get them for 19.25% off if you can price beat at Officeworks before they price match Coles themselves! Probably the best non-Costco deal you can get these days. OzBargain meetup at Officeworks at 7am Wednesday?

Wonder what happened to the grain waves cheddar flavour? Can't find them anywhere. They were my fav.

    • +2

I miss the grain waves from before. It used to be thicker, now it is crunches in you mouth like papadums. Somewhere down the line they made this change without telling us.

    • +1

I'm wondering what happened to 70% of the Tyrrels flavors. The 3 that remain all suck.

    • And also the plain flavoured ones, they were decent

Thanks TA. Great time to stock up on great products!

  • Hey TA, can you add wifi to the 4gx?

as there is a Telstra 4GX plus phone as well for $69

    • +2

Done. Not much room to move in the title :)

      • +1

Thanks, Oh was a bit tight hey? I'm sure you can do it ;)

        • +1

I am sure TA is used to tight spot…..

  • I was getting worried that iTunes discounts were over…

  • +2

I read the side of the frantelle springwater as 'pervert traveller'.

  • The 4gx Wifi seems like a good deal - I'm having a poke around to check out the device reviews but anyone know anything about this hotspot?

    • +2

They have this on sale almost once every fortnight, but I couldn't able to find stock from all my local Coles, so ended up bought an almost brand new 4GX wifi plus (the one with lcd screen) + telstra data bank package from scumtree instead. It is very quick, can see my downloads go faster than my home internet. But sometimes during morning very slow, so its not super stable for me.

  • they're still trying to get rid of Raspberry Coke. Can't be any worse than Coke with Coffee.

    • coke with coffee should die in a fire, raspberry coke is pretty good.

      • Wait.. that's real?

        • +2

imagine you and your partner have been out drinking, you come home drunk and are both dying of thirst. She asks for a coke, you fell like a coffee. In your drunken state you pour the coffee into the coke glass, for some reason in your drunken state you decide you can't waste valuable coffee so you drink it…

…it's at that point you decide to never drink again.

    • Coke's made a lot of blunders as of late. New Lift, Coke Life, then whatever green thing they replaced Life with.

    • Has anyone tasted the coke with ginger?

      • +1

        It's not bad.
If you're keen on ginger though, it's quite subtle

  • Since TA is from Victoria, I'm assuming the prices of drink hasn't factored in the CDS (Container Deposit Scheme) Levy for NSW.

So assume an extra 15-20c p/container on the prices of drinks.

    • +2

It looks like a NSW catalogue with the deposit scheme already factored into the prices.

      • +1

Just had a look at the prices for drinks, and appears it already has the prices factored in.

    • +1

even SA (which has had container deposit for ages) is now cheaper than NSW for drinks. I picked up a heap of 20x500ml Mount Franklin packs for $5 in Mildura on the way back to Sydney - after I feed the empties into my local Return & Earn machine, it means it's just $3/pack or 15cents a bottle (30 cents a litre).

WHY DOES NO-ONE SELL CHEESE GRAINWAVES ANYMORE!!!!!11

    • I'm sure I've seen them at Woolies.

      • not anymore

    • Limited edition flavor. Happens all the time with chips.

  • Those coffeesticks go on special so often, yet I saw a lady (old lady, very senile) buying a whole ton of them at 50cents off full price. I felt sad and like I wanted to tell her that she can buy so many more if she just waits until they go on special. Oh well. I took her pain on lol

    • maybe the old lady is rich

  • +1

    Lynx. Ladies here I come

    • +6

      And there they go

      • Well at least. Actually read the last words closely.

        • +1

Ahh I see what you did

    • Which wun do I get

  • Thanks for the heads up

  • Itunes. Cool. Been waiting on somewhere to offer discount.

  • +3

TA's been uploading the Coles weekly catalogues earlier and earlier. Perhaps one week he might even upload it before the previous catalogue begins.

    • +6

Soon the Coles stores will be asking TA what they'll be selling next week…

  • Is the Telstra 4GX WiFi locked to Telstra? If yes, can it be unlocked?

    • +1

Yes it can be unlocked. Look up unlock service in eBay.

  • +1

Might need to take back some of my groceries and get a refund and buy again next week when I really need them, they will be cheaper.

Do they put them back in the fridge / freezer, deli or fruit and veg and other people buy them, or throw them out ?.

    • +4

Unfortunately they throw them out. Some stores refuse to take items back for change of mind as they cannot resell things that can go 'off'. I brought back ice cream once as my partner bought wrong flavour, they said they had to throw it in the bin as they did not know how I stored it. I felt bad so took it back and lived with wrong flavour. It is a sin to throw perfectly good ice cream!

  • +1

Probably good to mention that the $15 Voda kit is the $40 one not the $30.

Also Optus $30 for $10 is a nice price.

  • Any one has good results with mortein peaceful nights automatic plug in? Reviews doesn't seem good for mosquitoes. Need it mainly for flies in apartment.

  • Bonsoy is also $3.80! Hardly ever on sale. Get on it.

  • Is that Telstra 4GX locked?
