  • Seems to be targeted. I have $168 for 280gb and $199 for 360gb but the 200gb is still $200

  • How to find the targeted offer in the One Pass app?

    • I googled OnePass mobile and logged into the website

      • Weird, I had to create a new One pass Mobile account to access the offer. I tried to copy/paste my One pass password for the new account but was rejected because it was more than 40 characters.
I did receive the offer but wonder if there is a workaround for people that didn't.

  • So roughly 16GB per month for $11 if my dodgy in the head maths is correct.

    • Yes but $11.58 per month to be exact. That's really cheap.

But then again the Kogan Mobile $199 500GB 365 day deal which i got earlier on in the year was also a great deal. You just got to wait for these great deals from time to time.

  • Will this deal be expired?

    • +1

Looking at email received it says 04/11 unless withdrawn earlier. Sim to be activated within 30 days of purchase.

    • +1

Expiry is a likely outcome if you need to call 000.

Optus network for those that care

    • Well done

Too bad they don’t offer eSIM.

    • Yes, an eSIM would be better. I ordered on 21 Sep and still have not received it yet. Went on online chat today to let them know and they are sending another one with tracked postage that should arrive in 1-3 business days.

      • same happened so I got a refund, got a month of lyca and now thinking should I go through it again! 10 bucks cheaper

        • Amaysim has $12 eSIM so I've gone with that tonight and hopefully the transfer tomorrow morning will be smooth. Might ask for a refund tomorrow or maybe get the $10 difference. Then do another transfer from Amaysim to Onepass.

  • Is this the cheapest 200GB plan?

  • +1

Does this give you a renewal voucher if you are already a member ? And if so how long do you have to use before it expires ?

Optus network, this should only be used as a spare sim taking into the consideration of the constant 000 failures.

    • +2

After their public humiliation this will likely be the best service for 000

      • +3

After their data breach people said your data will be safest with Optus. Then they had another major failure (000). Don’t reward companies that constantly fail to meet minimum standards.

      • decades ago you would have been correct, these days just wait 6 months and offer 50gb of free data and all is forgotten

    • +2

Constant is not exactly an accurate adjective there.

    • +3

You should be dialling 112 from mobiles. Thats the global number for emergency calls from mobile. It will connect to any available network in the area.

  • Bugger, I was about to sign-up until I see hte "Optus Network"!

    • +1

      It's better than boost!

      • Agree! My boost network is nightmare and it’s my worst decision to switch!

  • I bought a 90-day, 20 GB plan from this deal for the free One Pass membership. Do I need to port out and then port in to take advantage of this offer? Does anyone know?

    • yes you will

  • Value wise, this is ok.
The mobile service isn't the same as when it was Catch Connect though. Catch had better reception and faster data rates.
The app to manage your account is absolute garbage.

    • I am with felix and my 3 months of 50% off is about to expire, I AM DESPERATE to get away from felix, they are terrible (sim disconnects, internet time outs its that slow, low or no service in areas that are covered, not a phone problem a felix problem).
Does Onepass mobile work at least ok-ish?

      • Yeah, it's fine. Optus 4G network. When my plan expires, I'm going to switch to Boost. There's a few deals that come up every week or 2. and they do eSIM as well as physical.

        • thanks, I think I will grab this deal. I had boost for 2 years a while back, excellent coverage and data speeds etc, but they got too expensive.

    • Wait, really? I thought it was the same just rebranded?

      • That's what they made it look like. but if it was just a rebrand, they could have used the same app instead of that rubbish app they changed it to and the mobile service isn't the same. Catch gave 5g is some places and the download speed was faster. where I live I use to get 2-3 bars with Catch, since swapping sims to the Onepass, I get 1 bar if I'm lucky. same phone.

I cannot receive SMS in China with this

    • How about if you add $5 roaming calls/txt for 30 days? Would it work in China?

  • Anyone know if you can receive SMS in NZ with this for bank verification purposes

    • i have been travelling a bit over the last 2 years and have found the best option is to change bank verification to email. these days you can always find someone with wifi but you can never guarantee mobile reception

  • Can I make the switch when Im overseas? current plan will expire when Im travelling or better to just make the switch before heading off?

    • +1

Probably could but I won't risk it as you will need to ensure that you can still receive SMS during the number porting process. So best to transfer before leaving if you want to use your phone as soon as you land back in Oz.

      • cheers mate

  • I ordered this for my elderly parents phone. Interestingly the sim arrived with Catch Connect branding :)

    • Did you manage to port their number ok? I got mine for my partner, but it has to be in my name (which is fine). But it's not accepting their birthday or mine for the port…

      • I was fortunately able to, yep. My mum's number from her previous Kogan plan, had been cancelled for about 2 weeks while i was waiting for the sim to arrive, so i was getting worried i would lose the number, but it ported across fine. It did get held up on the system with an activation issue, so i called their support, and they pushed it through within the same day.

  • My 3 month felix deal which has been pretty good runs out in a few days. I was thinking this deal or iinets 6 month deal. Do you guys have any advice?

    • Well you would be switching from the Vodafone to Optus networks. How is the Optus reception in your area that is the question. If it's woeful then don't bother. You can get some good 365 Days deals through Vodafone (since you're currently on the Vodafone network) or one of the Vodafone MVNO if need be. For example Kogan Mobile (Vodafone MVNO) is doing a $149 200GB 365 Days deal at the moment which is only $10 more than this Onepass Mobile deal. But at least it's not on Optus. Personally i would pay $10 more to not be on the Optus network. It's woeful in the regional area where i am. Vodafone is better, Optus is woeful and Telstra costs more.

      • Thanks for your reply. I've always been telsta/boost but since boost isn't so cheap these days I thought I would give felix a go and they seemed decent didn't really have a issue with them. I'm not a heavy user tho. Going off your reply I think I'll stick to vodafone. I'm melb city but travel to regional.

  • Trying not to support Optus in any way, but this pricing is pretty good.

  • Sucks how it doesn't work for existing customers. Time to start churning to another provider

  • 4G?? too slow….

    • Download speed 200mbps in my area

    • Most of cheaper mobile plans in Australia have 150Mbps speed cap so even if you get 5G, the speed cap still applies.

  • Anyone know if it's 30 days or 24 months to activate this sim?

    • I'd like to know as well. It says activate within 30 days or 4/11 whichever is earlier?

  • This is still available as checked on 04/11/2025
