Xiaomi Mi Note 3 on GearBest vs LITB vs GeekBuying

I have been wanting to get Xiaomi Mi Note 3 for a while now.
I noticed that GearBest, LITB, and GeekBuying are the 3 place with the lowest price on it (around US$315-319).
I've never placed an order with any of them though, which store do you think would give me the least grieve when ordering the phone?
Thanks

I think all 3 should be able to get a lower price.

    Sunny, Oscar… you watching? 😋

    • I’m more concerned now with seller responds during the shipment and if the item is faulty.
I’ve been reading some comments in the forum and it seems all three can sometimes be ok and at other time problematic

You have to remember that you're buying from China so you can't expect the same quality of service and care like you would from an Australian business.

Shipping is probably the biggest complaint. Free shipping is slow and it's not unusual for it to take a month. It's the whole reason why it's free. Most sellers will offer express options discounted and sometimes even free. Get that if you don't want to wait a month. It's also important to remember that processing time is not included in the advertised shipping time.

As for warranty don't expect them to honour ACL as they're not an Australian business. They'll likely ask you to pay to return the item to them. You can activate PayPal's refunded returns to make this step easier.

    • I agree, you should be able to get a lower price. Litb had the phone on sale for USD 266 recently.

From personal experience I'd go gearbest or litb over geekbuying.

      • Geek are fine if you follow what I said above 😉

      • How to get a lower price?
I’m aware of the previous sale on litb, but the price has never been that low ever since unfortunately

        • Clear is going to try to negotiate a deal on the Mi Note 3.

Ah too late, I’ve placed an order on gearbest after the rep gave me a bit of additional disc..

        • @hendyb: Ah no worries - enjoy the phone! Let me know how it goes. How much did you end up paying at gearbest?

          @reyals16:
          I got it for us$299.99
Still a bit more expensive than the last litb disc, but it is the best price that i could find atm

  • In my experience the stock levels stated on gearbest are sometimes incorrect when they state they have stock, but actually don't. Then the estimated shipping date regularly gets pushed back. Just my experience though.

    • Apparently litb also the same. It says 24h dispatch, but when i asked one of the rep, he said better to order it from amazon or ebay if i need it quickly

  • No banggood? Yes, i know banggood never pricematches…

  • Consider Aliexpress.

I bought my Mi Note 3 in Blue 6GB/128GB for $379 USD. Shipped via DHL Express last month.

I was looking at the other 3 sellers before but they either had not stock or the price was a lot higher for the blue colour (reason why I went with Aliexpress).

    • thanks, have bought from GearBest.
They have the lowest price at the moment

  • Anyone know of other deals going for this device? Doesn't seem to be too popular so not much activity on oz bargain surrounding it.
376 AUD seems to be the lowest in Ali Express with litb hovering around 380. Had a quick look and can't see any relevant vouchers, anyone know of any to push the price down a few bucks?

    • Just try to contact gearbest rep or litb rep and ask for a special deal for you
I’ve been very happy with the device after using it for few weeks. And GB delivered it in 12 days (not 12 business days), so quite happy with that
But the tracking system is useless, it didn’t update days after it’s been delivered, just showed as “collection”

  • Thanks, I also contacted them. Hopefully something comes through. Found anything with the phone you don't like? I'll be coming from the redmi note 3, do an really looking forward to the camera more than anything.

No band 28 and some apps/options still has Chinese characters
I could delete most of chinese apps that comes with miui though
And you’ll probably need to flash the phone to a global rom, but just use the xiaomi tool, it’s very easy

Forgot to mention that lack of headphone jack is one of the main thing that I don’t like, along with no band 28
