My non-stick pan finally became sticky, so decided to check out Big W for some pans, and found their range of Tefal non-stick pans were 50% off.
Good timing it seems!
had a look at the massive ones instore, the quality seems to be inferior to the usual Tefal that I had before, it already had some peeling on the cooking surface.
My Tefal grillpan from about 3 years ago is more than twice the weight of the current model.
Maybe you should clean it?
ANy way to remove sticky residue from these pans that built up over the years?
Bi carb soda and vinegar. For burnt inside the pans boil vinegar
So don't use a high pressure hose?
These are the cheapest version of the Tefal Teflon coated range with an over-inflated RRP.
Accidentally leave the heat on and they become non-non-stick.
Good guys has the better , much improved version.
If you get it at half price, on sale , then use any store credit they get pretty cheap.
Or free like they're last online C&C sale.
The RRP On these is a joke. Last time I needed one and no half price deals, I found some good value pans at ikea, at various price points.

How long do these frying pans generally last?
I had a good Tefal pan for about 5 years but the handle came off :/ looking at getting a new one and the Vic basement deal seems far superior

Get the Tefal 'Induction' Version,
if you have to have this brand.
They have a big solid base like a proper frypan and a much thicker non-stick coating.
