Ideal Back to School and since its Unisex might be good for Boys as well??

      I wish those 2460 8 eye boots were either black or red. I usually wear size AU/UK 10, or US 11, so I am not sure how these would fit. But still I would have taken the risk if the color was different.

    Not really, they are UK sizes, so the size 8 is equivalent to our size 9 here. I just don't believe they are leather because from the photos they look very "plastic' to me.

      Very reputable brand from a pretty reputable store. I got a pair of Docs from Platypus just before Christmas and they were great and arrived pretty quick.

      Baring an accidental oversight, they should be leather and they should be pretty decent quality. My last pair of Docs lasted 11yrs.

        Yes I got a pair before XMAS - nice shoe, but I got a UK Size 8 and actually needed UK size 7 as the 8's are too big for my daughter, now I have to try and sell them and find stock if I'm lucky somewhere.

        Always a risk with Sizes when buying on the internet

        Yes I could return them, but got them for Xmas, so just out of the 30 day period, plus they have none left, so I couldn't replace

      I thought UK & AU sizes were similar, and the US is one size smaller. Are these exception to that sizing?

        @MMM: To add to that, I normally take an Aussie 8-1/2. A size nine is snug on my biggest foot [I wouldn't want to be wearing thick woollen socks, and the inside tongue is labelled as 9[UK, 43 [EU] 10 [USM] and 11 [US F]

        @MMM: I was just confused with the size conversion between us and the US/UK, hence my question to sistermay. Most of the shoes I bought over the years (casual/sports/dress) suggested that UK and AU sizes to be similar, and that US to be one size smaller. For example, size UK/AU 10 = size US 11 etc.

        @AussieDaddy: I purchased the Chelsea Men's UK 9 and normally take a US10, my wife purchased these Chelsea women's and they are UK6 and she normally takes US7 if that is of any help.

        @AussieDaddy: I think UK and Aus are the same for men's but women wear a smaller UK size than their normal Aus size.

        I'm an 11-12 (depending on width) women's Aus size and a 9.5 UK in Dr Martens
