Have prices been jacked? Even with 50% of its down to normal pricing, nothing special.

    • Thought the same when looking at sunglasses. Jacked for sure.

  • Damn it's only some items? At first I thought it was store wide.

  • Its dying tbh

Why do they have "New" at the start of every item? It's not an op shop…

The prices HAVE NOT BEEN JACKED on the items I bought on 26/12

    Paid $23.99, now $20.

What others mean is you bought your item for $23.99 in December and now they're advertising 50% off, but it's 50% off after they've jacked the price back up to $39.99. Which means $20 now.

One argument is that it should be 50% off the $23.99, not the $39.99.

The other argument is that the store is right to put it back to their normal/original/RRP price of $39.99, then take 50% off that (which is what's happening at the moment).

(I'm just explaining here and I'm not going to get into the argument of which of the above is correct).

The items were already discounted (by ~40% from memory) when I bought them.

The discount has been increased to 50% in these examples…

The original selling price (nominal selling price anyway) has remained the same
