be warned they are under no obligation to actually have a spot for you when you book. I booked a spot in Sydney only to get to the parking and find a queue of people screaming at the hotel parking people (apparently not even from Wilson) as the parking garage was full. no one there to talk to and you call and sit on hold or leave a message !! never again
That warning is definitely true re: no spots reserved but at the ticket machines and the ticket gate there should be someone to talk to through an intercom
Together with their parking space monitoring system and book-a-bay, you'd think they'd be able to reject any non-prepaid customers when the car park is full (technically not possible as there's no way to turn around once you've arrived at the boom gate). But then again, they have no incentive to do so. It's more lucrative to over-subscribe and lure book-a-bay reservations that may not turn up.
The cynic in me says that Book-a-Bay was conceived purely for revenue reasons and not for the customer.
