Given how expensive just these 100 tokens are ($7.35 AUD, seriously), I doubt anyone would want to spend money on them…

You can unsubscribe right afterwards. Use the tokens you receive to redeem a Skin for your OW in game character.

Overwatch League Commissioner Nate Nanzer recently announced Blizzard's new in-game currency for Overwatch: Overwatch League Tokens. Between now and February 14, 2018, Overwatch players will earn 100 League Tokens simply by logging in to the game on PC, Xbox One®, or PlayStation®4 and linking their Battle.net account.

Get an additional 100 League Tokens by signing up for email updates from Overwatch League and your favorite teams—enough for an Overwatch League team-specific hero in-game skin of your choice!

League Tokens will be granted throughout January and February. It may take several days for League Tokens to appear in your account

    Copied league of legends and added low effort recolours for premium currency, tad unexciting or worth effort when you can get last years event skins with lots of effort for barely anything.

      Launch the game. You will get a very big popup telling you about the League, and it gives you 100 tokens. This newsletter is the second batch of 100 tokens.

    100 tokens is 1/30 of a legendary skin. In my average, $30 of loot boxes can get at least 1 legendary skin and some other in game items. Ambitiously say $30 can get something less than 6000 tokens. It’s like $1-2 value of items you’re very likely not looking for, such as you like DVa skin but comes up a Zen spray. Their loot boxes system is very annoying compared to LoL which you can buy exactly what you like. During event periods, the game drags you into games after games to level up for loot boxes or you ended up spending tens or hundreds of dollars for unwanted virtual items.

          One good thing though is less griefers. Usually get adults who haven't grown up yet griefing nowadays. Most of the time it's rather pleasant. Good teamwork and 50/50 chance to win.

    If you play Overwatch you gets these anyway? I.e. You need to have an account which gives you an initial free 100 tokens.
    There's no additional 100 tokens?

      These are additional tokens. So if you have the default 100 this would make it 200 which means two free skins in total with news registration.

      Took about 3 days to get the newsletter tokens. Not sure what I will spend it on though. I got the 76 Dynasty one.
