Samsung Galaxy Note 8 64GB (Gold) - $1129 Shipped (AU) @ MyMobile

150

Just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 AU Stock with 2 years Samsung Warranty, you can buy from the above website which is still pretty cheap at $1,129 with FREE SHIPPING, but I ended up getting it price matched and beaten by 5% from Officeworks.

Just remember that the website you want Officeworks to match has to have stock available and it needs to be Australian Stock.

The deal the OP has posted is for the NOTE 8 !!

Doubt if this phone is getting retired in February !!

Yep but there maybe a decent discount off the price when the S9 gets released, and that isn't too far away so its worth holding out for.

  • Darn it, I literally bought this about 2 hours ago from Harvey Norman.
Tried to price match with JB HiFi and Harvey Norman, but they were unwilling to price match with MyMobile at all. Saying it was an Optus unlocked phone and not direct from Samsung.
Oh well, too late for that now, do not feel like running around for a couple of hours for a return and price beat to get back around $150.

  • Thanks. Purchased from officeworks for around $1070.

    • Lucky. My officeworks (Rundle Mall, Adelaide) refused to match and claimed mymobile was selling grey imports.

      • Call them and order over the phone.

  • Thanks a lot! just bought it from office works for $1072.

That's it purchasing tomorrow! Plus a extra 10% off at trs!

  • Hmm, only 1 left in stock & I'm dubious it will be available for my Officeworks to 5% against come tomorrow morning but I'll keep an eye on it just in case! Thanks for sharing :)

  • While I get that they are import models why would someone purchase this over the Kogan $999 price? Still brand new, still covered by a combination of Kogan + AUS consumer warranty. Only difference is a 2nd Sim slot you don't have to use isn't it?

    • +1

Aussie stock gets 24mo warranty via Samsung AU, whilst Kogan phones get 12 months warranty via Kogan (unless you fork out for longer) - and people are generally wary of grey importer warranty as it can often drag on for months (Oh we sent it back to the country of origin/oh it's getting assessed/it's still getting assessed, then if you're unlucky they've dragged it beyond the warranty period or have made the determination it's not eligible for warranty due to moisture exposure because they put it somewhere humid, if you're super lucky it's oh it's getting fixed that can take a month/it's getting shipped back/we have it, it's just waiting for dispatch/you'll get it in the mail next week, and by this point you've been without your phone for three months and already bought a new phone…).

      • Ahh OK, cheers for the info.

  • Nice deal, didn't want to wait further so bought.

  • Office works refused to price match because these were optus and telstra branded and they had in black only. So did anyone price matched in sydney, if yes which store
