    I bought the S7 lens kit from these guys and used it daily on a recent 3 week holiday .. the wide angle lens made such a difference!

    Even a tout selling a clip on wide angle lens at the Petronas Towers in KL asked to have a look ;)

      Yeah need one too, already managed to scratch the top frame while it was sitting IN the included plastic clear case. Only minor but noticable with the midnight black. Hopefully a softer material like the alcantara is a little more gentle on this phone.

    So, just to repeat fortunecookie's questions : does anyone know if the lens for the S7 is usable on the S8+? Google hasn't helped me much, but I presume that I'd need a case on which to mount the lens and there doesn't seem to be one (yet?).

      yes your right you need a mounting case. something like this perhaps, not sure whther the same lens kit will fit though

        Thanks mate. Thought so. I've got a couple of Moment lenses for my S8+ so I'll just stick with them. Would have been nice to be able to use these lenses as well.

          Amazing quality. They were originally a Kickstarter project as iphone lenses but now are sold retail for both iphone and (some) Samsung phones. They've already released updated and improved versions - both wide angle and telephoto - the updated versions are the ones I purchased. They're not cheap - I paid $79US for each lens plus I had to purchase the case for $29US (the lens attach really securely to the case and the case is excellent as well). However, for they are fantastic lenses and coupled with the S8+, make an excellent camera setup.

          I had a look and they seem pretty cool, though a bit pricey (cause I'm a true Ozbargainer?) but I love my s8+ and mobile photography so might give it a go..

          Just curious - which lens did you get?

          Mate, I actually purchased both lenses and the case. Yep, definitely pricey but light-years better quality than the cheapy lenses that are mostly sold. My experience re: image quality is the same as those detailed in the reviews - almost all of the time, there is no evidence that I've used a lens attached to the phone. They're fantastic.
