      Yes you have to pay a $9 'booking fee', which is more than I pay for normal movie tickets.

        I was about to correct you to say it's a $7 booking fee, but looks like you're right, it's up to $9 now. Yeah, that's gone from "slight saving, but misleading advertising" to a straight up ripoff.

        Although that is usually $9 for a double pass, so $4.50 a person for a movie is pretty decent.

    The booking fees kill the only two deals available for QLD
    $9 for a Monday night screening of a movie
    $15 for 1 car entry into a drive in movie.

      Sounds like it. Here in Melbourne Monday night movie tickets at Cinema Nova are a straight $10.

      $8.95 booking fee is for 2 tickets (so only $4.50 per person to see a film)
      $15 car entry included up to 5 entry tickets to the film so only $3 per person

    wow the booking fees have ramped up over the years to kill the deals - from my history ..

    2016 - BF 2:95
    2017 - BF 3:95 creeping up to 5:95
    2018 - BF some shows 5:95 now going up to 8:95 !

    Feel like the booking fee for a drive in movie at $15 is really excessive, I can get a car + food for $10 on scoopon!

    Otherwise some of the prices are reasonable, $8.95 for 2 tix to Saw was good.
