  • Harry Potter 4K was $104 using 20% off + Stack 20% off code here
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/354683

    • This is 25% off so I assume the other stack code can be added to this.

      • Stack coupon can't be used, I tried it but T&C's basically say only one coupon allowed at a time. So its actually a worse deal than than 20% off all dvds/bluray (from the other day) + 20% off stack coupon.

        • Damn, was hoping to stack stack

        • me too :(

So you can add one coupon if prices are already reduced but not 2.

  • Is it targeted? I received the same email and it mentioned this - "This coupon is unique and can only be used once. Offer valid for instore & online transactions until Sunday 21st January 2018, offer cannot be extended."

Codes seem the same across all my emails and the one posted above

  • Note Harry Potter isn't true 4k

Yeah, I thought that was the case but too hard to check on mobile when I posted.
3 onward are fake. That's a huge price premium for a mostly fake 4k boxset.

    • You still feel great improvement from bluray, especially HDR makes the movies look stunning.

    • There are a few native 4k films (there's not many) that actually look worse than an upscaled 2K. Depending on the treatment done on the film by technicians, colour tone, grain, bitmapping, noise reduction, etc. Also all special effects and rendering are done in 2K so basically nothing is actual 4K. It would cost millions more to render it in 4K so movie studios only use 2K special effects. Don't worry too much about native 4K or upscaled 2K. Judge it by individual titles. The Amazing Spider-Man was filmed in 4K but something like the John Wick movies which were filmed in 2K actually look much better in HDR.

    Entourage @ $66 isn't bad (blu-ray)
