  • Any deals for Cozmo?

    • Not yet ;) M.A.X is too cool to miss in Meccano's range and has great STEM attributes due to the building, but maybe later!

    • Cozmo is so much fun. I got it in 2016 December and it is still fun after 1 year. Highly recommended :)

  • Great price!!

However, I am a little concerned about the negative feedback you have received (specifically in the past month) which is why I haven't pulled the trigger on this yet.In saying that, 99.7% positive feedback is great.

Do you have any comments on the last month?

14 neutral or negative vs 2114 positive in the last month ain't bad.

I can only speak of my one purchase from them, the Lego tracked racer deal a few weeks back.
Price was great, shipped quickly and arrived in good condition (and via startrack express so was in my hands from the opposite side of the country in 2 days)

      • Cheers for the info.

They have a very good history but compared to other months, December seemed to get more negative feedback than other months. OP has clarified to my liking below and confirmed what I was thinking.

      Hey shandawgg - great question…

We've had a LOT of experience with feedback over many years, it's near impossible to reach 100% with a high volume of transactions because there's always factors out of our control, or within our control but difficult to avoid. We're extremely well resourced, have warehouse automation, inventory systems etc and all of our staff are genuinely good people - but factors out of our control include many facets, if you've ever sold stuff on ebay you'd probably have an idea. For example, incorrect addresses (ebay doesn't verify postcodes and addresses, our systems attempt to compensate), courier loss or malfunctions, damage in transit (we never send "damaged products"!), delivery to wrong addresses, people not home when the courier comes, picking errors (we have scanning systems but we still employ humans! Error rates reduce as we learn), product issues, customers sometimes not happy with the price etc etc. Some days we pack over 1300 orders a day, something falls on the floor and we screw up an order - you get the picture.

Having said the above, our feedback a few years ago used to be 99.3% which was better than most if not all of our competitors at the time, and at the moment it's 99.7%. Would we like it to be 100%, of course, is it achievable - not sure, we'd need to have perfect product suppliers, make no human errors etc - it's our goal to eliminate as many problem points as possible!

For comparison, Target 99.4%, Myer 98.1%, Kogan 98.5%, Catch of the Day 99.5%, The Good Guys 98.1%.

We are 99.7% and we're pretty proud of that ;)

We're not infallible, but we're honest and always resolve issues (caused by us or couriers), so hopefully we get the chance to serve you one day too!

I should have noted by the way, December is THE month where things go wrong usually at a particularly higher rate than other periods. All couriers are at full capacity or struggling at all to deliver, the number of transactions are way higher, and the potential for human fallibility is naturally at it's highest - everything needs to happen before "the day". I think you'd agree we did pretty good, and where we didn't - we make up for it with those customers and do the best we can to resolve the error or return to sender problems. Thank you!

        • Thanks for your response, very detailed and has put me at ease.

        • Thank you, look forward to giving you great service!

From Tech Republic's "10 immutable laws of mistakes"… "Law #5 Mistakes occur at the very worst time", our teams have been briefed to get these orders as perfect as possible!

Reviews of the product itself on Amazon is a bit of a cocern as well.
