Stages Ultegra Power Meter - $479 Shipped (RRP $899) @ Pushys

190
JAN20

This is a power meter crank for road cyclists

Pushy's bike store are having a 20% extra off stock on sale.

As Stages power meters are having an end of line sale, these are already discounted from $899 down to $599. On top of this you can get the extra 20% from the sale.

I emailed Stages and the only differences is a change in colour due to the new Shimano range.

This is a great deal for those cyclists who are thinking about getting a power meter for their bike.

Edit: Need to check your crank length. For same deal but with 175mm crank and plenty of stock left.

As pointed out, the 172.5 cranks are almost sold out already

  • What's the appeal of these things?

Structured training, to understand power outputs, evening up L and R legs, relating to heart rate, endurance, pacing, etc.
If you're not training properly for bike racing, you don't need one of these.

As an overweight middleaged man, I definitely need this for my 15min commute to the train station.

How do you attach it to your car?

      • With zip ties, should line up with the rear diff nicely.

Thanks for the Bike deals Pete.

Not that I need anymore Bike stuff n +1…..

  • Says left arm. Do you have one for my leg?

Definitely not just a colour change. The new R8000 crank is a different design.

    • From Stages

Sorry for the delay. The only difference is effectively the colour. The 9000, had a
silver/matte black colour mix. The 9100 is a shiny black.

Maybe left side crank is the same or maybe didn't require re-design from Stages?

You are right though….the Shimano setup definitely looks different to the older model. Looks like the Stages crank is unchanged though

      • The reply from stages was for different models, the higher spec dura ace.

Just look at the stages models of the 6800 and the R8000 and the front on image looks different.

      • Yes, it's well know that it is cross compatible due to having the same q factor and method of attachment but saying 6800 and R8000 cranks are the same and is only a colour change is incorrect.

Cheers. Used the same discount code to purchase the older model Cycliq fly 6 for $120 delivered.

fantastic….I think they have a new model coming out soon. I've got one and works great, unfortunately paid $200 for mine.

HEY EVERYONE! SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT I NEED YOUR ATTENTION***

There is a chinese power meter similar design to Stages that I just discovered TODAY! called.. Ronde or Xcadey (they're the same thing it seems but rebranded).

If anyone is willing to take the gamble then awesome and let me know how it goes. One or two reviews out there that seem favourable.
