[PS4/XB1, Pre-Owned] The Division: 2 for $23 (Buy One Get on Free) from EB Games

40

Hey guys so it's $23 right now but it ends up being $11.50 each when you can get a 2nd copy as your free game.

Just means you will have get a friend on board to share the cost with you, which is good as it means a friend to play with.

Should ring up your local EB games store just to make sure there is 2 copies in stock so you can get the deal.

Great game if you are looking for a good PvE game to play for your friends this is a good game to get especially after the 1.8 patch which has fixed alot to make it very enjoyable to play.

It’s not $11.50 if you have to buy 2 copies…

Next post… bottles of shampoo, 1/2 price… when you get your friend to buy the other half…

You still get two copies so if you had a friend that wanted the game, you would each pay $11.50 for your copy. Your shampoo thing is not the same as each person would get only half a bottle. Alternatively you can get another product at $23 so each game would be $11.50.

People in marketing love people like you.

The way it was originally posted was that you could buy a copy of the game for $11.50, and that simply wasn't true.

The only way you get this game for $11.50 is if you sold the other game, otherwise, it's $23 for two copies of the game. If you bought another game for $88, then got this one as the free one, in your theory, you paid $44 for this half of the deal, which is $21 higher than just buying it on its own…

It's the same logic as the people posting deals for cash back deals and saying $xxx AFTER cash back… No, it's $xxx item + cash back. You don't get to take the discount off the original price…

I see your point and I agree if the original title was $11.50 then its misleading.
Its still kinda $11.50 each like if you bought two bags of coffee for $30, I think you can say they were equivalent of $15 each.
Difference is having two copies of the same game is pointless except in rare circumstances like if you own two consoles and people want to play simultaneously.
I think the OP meant equivalent of $11.50 each provided you have a friend and split the price.

It's also pre-owned, maybe mention this.

  • both members above have some valid points. You still pay $23, but technically receive 2 copies of the game. So if you don't have anyone interested you still pay $23 for 2 copies.

Applies for all pre-owned copies of The Division on PS4 and Xbox One.

$17.95 on PSN if your going alone

  • Its actually a pretty good game. Needed a bit more PVE content though at launch.

I never really could get into PVP looting.

Edit: I wish the DLC would come down to a good price.

You can get the gold edition on PSN for 39 which includes the season pass. Pretty good considering the season pass is 60 on its own lol

Any bargains on friends going at the moment? Been meaning to pick myself up one since the 4th grade but never got around to it
