Why not? If a local store is selling an overseas version and gives you a tax invoice with GST on it, you should be able to claim TRS
Definitely oz stock. Because it also gives you 15k qantas points which is worth $100. So you will have it for $880.

For items over $1k your identity also needs to be on the tax invoice.
I can't advise on cruises, but Bali and NZ are some of the shortest and cheapest overseas flights from Sydney - potentially low $400's return for either, with Auckland being the cheapest option that I could find. The prices can vary a lot each day tho, sometimes with other cities like Christchurch being the cheapest.
