I really doubt you would see hackers on the xbox version.
According to Digital Foundry, XB1/XB1X version frame rate is still not close to PC version. However, because of that, it is easier to do well in XB1 version (despite the occasional lag). They struggle to do well in the PC version even though it plays better on PC.

performance is still a work in progress but you wont run into any hackers like on PC and everyone is dealing with same performance issues so its an even playing field
If you want less hackers on PC I'd suggest first person mode, it tends to attract less hackers.

I'm on PC and noticing the increased amount of hackers, anyone care to comment on the XB1 version? willing to spend the mullah as I do enjoy this game a lot! (despite being buggy)
