      • Are you kidding me? People are freaking dying! Only 450 Lumens?
        Thanks anyway

450 Lumen~ Which is not very bight lol

  • Dumb question but do the power outlets or switches need to be kept on for this to work out can you turn them off at the plug and it will still somehow work. Still new to this low level home automation and smart housing but definitely want to maybe change my bulbs to smart bulbs.

Yes it will need to be kept on for it to continue to work. If you turn it off at the switch it will not be controllable.

Although if you turn the switch on again it should turn on just like a normal light.

I've got one of these, its a good bulb for a lamp (only 40w incandescent equivalent). The only downfall is it can't be controlled by the yeelight app, Which also means it can't be controlled by Google Home. Can only be controlled by the Mi Home app (or zigbee buttons) via the Mainland China server.

    • Don't think this work with Xiaomi Gateway

      • It works with Zigbee switches ok.

Does anyone know the longevity of these bulbs? Hopefully the soft fragrance isn't a faint burning smell.

    • LED bulbs are usually advertised as lasting for years (MANY YEARS). I've used quite a few different LED bulbs ranging from philips, xiaomi, panasonic etc. How long they last I think is usually to do with luck/chance? I've had same bulbs that died within 6 months, 1 year while the other bulbs are reaching its 2nd year of life. They all get used similar amount of hours too so I don't think the hours used is a huge factor.
