Boost Prepaid Zume 5 $29 @ Coles

110

I bought one of these to use as a security camera at home. Didn't bother activating the SIM card.

Boost is selling the same phone for $5.50 more.

Yes, it's an old phone and it's got 1Gb RAM. But I found it useful to do something else with it.

As a security camera? I know its only $29 but still that's quite bad.

Yeah, not the best but the area is always lit. The back camera does it's job and I can remote in using Teamviewer when I need

      • Something like this not a better buy? Also, it is at Woollies for $20 if you can find stock.

Guess it's more for peace of mind than an actual security issue.

  • Would this work okay as a 4G wifi hotspot (modem router)?

    • I'm no expert but since it's a 4G capable phone then I can't see why you can't do it.

  • Can anyone recommend a dirt cheap phone like this to use with Amaysim? My dad needs a new phone (very basic user, doesnt know how to text) and is with amaysim.
