I just rang Dick Smith and the lady on the phone said they will send all units with the free hard case (thanks to 'tightarse' posting). I am happy with $149 and will be over the moon if they really do send me the free case. My first Tomtom was $400 some years ago. The cheapest I could find was $170 on the web from Bing lee but they did not have in stock, so I think personally it is a good price for a Tomtom and not one of those crappy brand that is slow to response or may send you in to the middle of nowhere…LOL!
Just want to be clear I am not responsible for it if they do not send the case with it, as it is a bonus for me if they do and I am happy with the $149.They will send the case - have faith.

Was anyone able to use AMEX to pay for this? I tried a few times and kept on getting time had expired (when it obvously hadn't). Ended up using Paypal to get it to go through.
I paid through Amex with no problems and have double the warranty to 2 years fro free, same other cards have the same benefit too (not all Amex cards though)
I was on the hunt for a GPS for about 2 weeks now. This was a great deal and thank you so much.

think i missed out. thanks for the post. The website still doesn't say that the offer is expired but lists the price as $219 and in store only.
