I've been trying to find good Air Mouse remotes that also have IR learning buttons. Between 'Rikomagic RKM MK705' and this one, it has great reviews, seems it's never been on OZB before. Don't forget cash rewards.

Before you search internet for reviews remember this is Delux version which is latest, there's an older Pro version too that confused me during research.

Please go easy if u don't like the post.

  • It looks like only 3x buttons are or programmable.

Not sure if this one supports wake from S3 sleep (my RF Logitech keyboard can wake my pc from sleep but my RF/ir air mouse cannot, even in the same usb port).

I have this one. It's very similar. The main differences are that it has 4 or programmable instead of 3 and the reverse keyboard is capacitance keys. It lacks the play button.

It's only $10. I'd recommend just beware of the limitations.

    • I have it too. Love the ability to recharge it with micro usb cable.
I can not turn my TV on with it though - it can only be useful once my TV is on and it can turn it off too.
I still don't know how to use the keyboard on its back.

      • Maybe the USB port the receiver is plugged into isn't powered when the TV is off?

To use the keyboard, flip it over and press the switch on the side, a light on the side will change from an arrow (touchpad mode) to ABC (keyboard mode).

I also have the H1, great item - have used it as mouse/keyboard with a RasPi, Win10 PCs, and a TANIX TX3 MINI media player. Standard BL-4C battery is easy to get for replacement.

Only thing bad I can say against it is being very fiddly trying to use multiple key presses on the keyboard, (eg. Fn + E to get 3).

    • Thanks i'll watch a few more videos to assess further.

    terrible simply terrible -

I kid you not. you were warned.

Yeah I had one too. It could be ok but integration with Windows or Kodi box was shite

Better off with a Logitech k400

Totally agree, reception is terrible. Can't believe they even bother mass producing something that has such poor range it's virtually useless.

  • would you say the logitech harmony 650 is better than this? needing to replace mine as the buttons are worn out and has been dropped many times.

    • I think depends what you wish to connect to harmony 650. I believe harmony 650 does not interface as an HID, it's only IR so won;t work with most Android Boxes, but most TVs should be fine. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

    • The 650 is a great remote but I don't use it for android ever.

for android a backlit cheap chinese remote is the way to go- budget about $10 us free shipping. Backlit wireless power on/off etc.

you want to spend more money the only one I think of is the Minix a3 - but I haven't got one so that could be shocking too.

  • any suggestion for a good air mouse with voice input/keyboard for android boxes?

    • Buy a xiaomi mi box.

  • Buy a Logitech k830

    • Looks great but doesn't have IR. I'll still have to rely on a remote to switch on the tv and kodi box.

      • Pressing any button on the keyboard wakes my htpc (windows) from S3 sleep.

        • Windows sure, but a TV behaves differently unless maybe if it's an AndroidTV then it might. I have a dumb-tv linked to a Kodi box (not official AndroidTV like Mi box). Both wake via IR.

        • @rob359: I read that these air mouse style remotes have no problem waking an android box. However as noted they can't wake pc

        • @kiwijunglist: Yup true. But not all AirMouse though just ones with IR learning buttons.

  • Ordered without realising Zapals poor reputation… anyone received their order yet ??
