Was waiting for one of these cards, but this post made me grab one off ebay :(

    • My 64GB cards passed.

      • i wanted it as a backup for my dash cam, so didnt want to take the risk of the card failing when I actually needed it

    • Thanks .. i just learned about H2testw (and 'F3' for mac)

I think LITB have burnt too many bridges - will not buy from them. I had a similar problem with 32GB card. I let it go as it was a single card and paypal wanted me to send it back (registered) - cost of the return postage did not make the venture worth my time and effort.

    • Agreed. Not worth the risk for a few $$$

    • Scum I won't be buying anything from litb now.

      • Hardly scum when they actually refunded the customer. Very easy for counterfeit to make their way into the supply chain without knowing.

        • Really did you read the post?

        • @bti_jet:

          Update 22/01/18 22:22PM
          Refund has been confirmed.

        • +1

@Clear: only after posting it on socials.. says a lot about the integrity of these sellers

        • +2

@steff: After PMing the rep. That's generally what happens when people contact store reps.

        • +1

@Clear: I would rather support an organsiation that gives 2 shits about its customers. Why does a rep need to step in to make the refund happen?

        • @steff: CS were asking for proof before taking action which is completely reasonable. Contacting the rep directly made things process even faster. I'd go as far as saying this was in line with ACL. Major fault, provided proof and was promptly refunded.

        • +1

@Clear: maybe so, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have gone down that way or so quickly should that person not made a post on OZB.

You're free to purchase it if you want, but it's a no from me

        • @steff: Same applies to pretty much everyone. Just look at all those people posting on Coles and Woolies because of their incompetent store management.

        • +1

@Clear: with one small difference - you walk in and get an exchange or refund.

        • +1

@bti_jet: yep, that's exactly what I did. It's not worth the extra $1 or $2.

Being associated to some of these stores, I believe Clear is obligated to defend them, and I get that.

My post was more of a warning for those who may have missed the forum post, that's it. I dont really have a problem with store reps trying to defend their stance, as long as it's backed by facts (which Clear did).

Because they have physical retail stores. Unlike LITB and many many other online stores.

        • +1

@Clear: a physical presence isnt a factor. I've dealt with plenty of ebay sellers who were more than cooperative to fix and refund if necessary. No ebay/paypal involvement either

    deal on 64GB please

  • +2

reading the negative comments have steered me away from this mob….not sure if the MODs will do something about LITB…

    • +3

Why the negs on this comment? I've experienced shady practices by LITB myself. OZB is a community and warnings should be a major part of it.

      • -1

Not for the typical ozb sheep that have arrived here the last year

  • Still waiting for the 64gb card to be sent :/ purchased on the 19th Jan, the status expects it to be sent on the 27th Jan….and with their slow shipping, might expect it early Christmas 2018?

    • +3

Lol.. I thought it was a known thing to expect deliveries within 2 months of purchase. I know that is the time frame I personally give before I start to lose my patience.

Although admittedly LITB (like some have mentioned, I'll never buy from again, and Shopping square are fairly terrible with their deliveries and items not ever arriving. I've had a better overall shopping experience with Gearbest/ Banggood.

Amazon have a decent deal on at the moment on their Evo Select Micro SDs which is where I will be buying!

      • I thought GB, BG, LITB, Rosegal were all owned by one company, just trading as different names?

        • +1

I doubt it, had problems with GB in the past, where as BG have been very good with previous problems

        • +3

GearBest and Rosegal are the same. LITB is separate as is Banggood.

I bought mine in 1st week of December. Still not received. Customer service said to give it 60 days. FML

      • Same here ☹️

    this store should be banned.

These comments saved me a lot of time and stress by the sounds of it
Time to find a reliable supplier

    • +1

Yeah, don't even bother with LITB.

I don't know how, but my purchase from BangGood on the 19th of Dec has arrived earlier than my LITB purchases from the start of Dec. In fact, one item still hasn't arrived (or could be lost).

LITB delivery times are definitely bad, probably even for Chinese standards.

  • Expired? The price is now USD 12.89.
