still waiting for mine from the last deal and that was before Christmas

    • +4

Mine arrived on Monday (Sydney). I can't complain at the price paid (inc free delivery).

    • Same boat, ordered mine on the 13th December, still nothing

    • im not siding with seller but that is pretty normal.
dont count holiday seasons, even australia post cant perform well during that time.
13 dec order date, for me i will happy to receive 29 jan at the earliest. im serious.
i buy hundreds from ebay, aliexpress, and others.
if you think that time frame is unacceptable, then better buy locally :)

      • +2

nothing about being unacceptable.. just stating that I haven't received mine,

        bought on 7th December

        • +1

ok. for yours might arrive very soon. just wait for the surprise ..

      • +1

I too haven't receive mine from 14/12, i too buy hundreds of item from aliexpress, ebay and gearbest
Sometimes you get lucky and some times you are not, roughly around 3-5 weeks I received my item
I bought small drone from gearbest on the 15/12, not expecting to come by end of January but it turn up on the 29/12
This is my first order with LITB so hopefully it will go smooth

        • +1

for me, on ebay, items from hong kong sellers arrives faster than from china.
singapore, malaysia, are fast as well.
the more expensive you buy, the faster too, YMMV

        • I bought 2 drones from LITB a couple of days after Christmas, and they arrived a couple of days ago…

          lets wait and see..

    • I'm waiting too

    • Placed a order on the 24th November. Still has not arrived yet. I got this in response to my ticket.

"We are sorry to tell you that your package might be slightly delayed. Because it is shipped by post office, it needs to be transferred between the post offices of several countries, it might get through with the Custom Clearance, opening and checking by the officer in any post office. And any bad weather will have huge effect on shipping time.

Our post office manager informed that for most delayed packages, they have large possibility to be delivered within 60 days. The manager can open a case to look for it if customer hasn’t received it after 60 days.

So you still have great possibilities to receive it within 60 days, before [2018-01-23]. Could you please kindly wait for more days till the 60th day? We are really sorry for the long time waiting. Please kindly note that we are a very professional online shopping store. The reason why we can run successfully for more than 10 years is because we care about our customers’ satisfaction and we respect our business. So we will take full responsibility since you chose our company to place the order. If you do not receive it by that day, please open a new ticket to us and we'll file a case with post office to check. You have nothing to worry about."

So be prepared to wait. Personally, I think 60 days is not really acceptable.

You get what you pay for. You can pick up a 64gb one from Harvey Norman for $36 if, like me, the shipping bothers you.

    • Mine arrived today

  • So is this one better than sandisk extreme?

    • Not according to the manufacturers read/write stats. The extreme will likely be more expensive though.

  • Thansk OP, Ordered one.

  • LightInTheBox checkout process:
    1) Choose USD currency (above 'cart' icon).
    2) Make sure you untick "Add shipping insurance to your order".
    3) Apply Coupon at the last box in Checkout page, under "Payment
Method", just before you proceed to Paypal

    • Coupon?

Thank u op ordered come to $13.30

      • +1

I think those steps have been included in each LITB post regardless of whether there’s a coupon for the deal or not. Same thing happened with the 32gb card the other day.

  • Ops Any deal for a bigger capacity eg 64 or 128 gb?

    • Scroll down a little ;)

      • Thank you!

  • Just to confirm, a smaller card has the same avg write speed as a larger capacity card, but a larger card has higher burst speeds? And this card won't do 2k/ 4k recording?

    This U1 averages 10MB/ sec, for 2k/4k you need a U3 30Mb/sec avg?

    • *For best 4K UHD video support Samsung recommends using 64GB cards or higher. Host device compatibility may vary.
      https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/memory-c…

    • +1

This will work in most consumer devices but consult google. 4k recording in action cams and phones generally do not exceed 50-60 Mb/s, which is 4-5MB/s. This card has a minimum of 10MB/s so it will be fine.

  • got 4, thanks OP

  • thanks, handy for a RPi

  • Thanks OP, will go well with the cheap dashcams everyone in the family received for XMas

  • I know it's different, from my understanding U3 is better than U1 right?

Reason I ask is of this post earlier:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/354491

Yes, not as cheap as $10USD, but at double the GB making it cheaper/GB, would the U3 be a better buy?

  • bought thanks OP

  • I can keep getting an error saying my shipping address is incorrect.

    Annoying.

    • Was having the same. Clicked on Add New Address, went to account address book and back to cart let me place the order.

  • How much would in AUD if I use AMEX? any extra charges for international payment?

  • why did it came up $13.31 on me?

    • like me you prob selected with tracking…

worth it for the extra $1?

      or/and you paid in AUD.
i did too - because not sure how much i'd get charged via paypal/28deg card so safer to go this way

      just hope its legit/not fake.

  • Can these be used in DashCam?

    • I believe it can, but may void warranty

Samsung SD Cards, Micro SD Cards and UFDs are not intended to be used for continuous recording purposes or with other write-intensive devices, including but not limited to security cameras, surveillance systems, dashboard cameras, black-box cameras, internet protocol/network cameras, continuous recording set top box devices and continuous data logging devices like servers, dedicated devices for benchmarking tests and the primary drive for certain devices.
