Might be a dumb question but how do you get this offer using the app? I can’t seem to get the $1 deal.
The price says $3.3you need to agree to receive rewards and promotion via email, then it shows the daily deal in the app. I had the same issue before, when I used to see a deal on Ozbargain, but wasn't visible on my phone.
the next challenge is getting a kiosk to scan the code or a register with scanner ( few have
them) so far i’ve only had one fluent success and that was via wireless in a store ( free cookies) …. the rest are cash register add manually and add discount.i heard maccas free wifi wasnt safe to use esp when you have to pay with credit card? can anyone confirm?
i don’t pay with credit card …. cash at register …… considering how flakey the app is and that once on your phone it just pays do you really want to risk it .
hate to try and get a refund at a maccas if you ve used the app, paid with card and got the order wrong.
You can just type in the code at the kiosk yourself, without having to scan it.
But the app is super buggy, and, more often than not, I'll get stuck on "updating product information", or randomly logged out, before I can even get to that screen.
Is there an option to pay at register when ordering with app?
When i tried to use the app last year they only had credit card as the payment option
You would have thought a company with so much money could get the app working properly!
I tried this morning and credit card still seems to be the only option. Wish they would add cash.
But for this deal they actually give you a QR code that can be scanned at the counter. So you can order it that way, and pay cash.

FYI can add extra choc fudge mmmm for .50c or other toppings, as well as a Flake, Oreos or M&M's for .50c each extra.
Half the time you pay for extra it comes with the normal amount.

Didn't work at circular Quay, Sydney maccas. Tried through mobile app 4 times. Still got charged 4 times.
Manager said service was down or something. Qr/code didn't work too.
Wasted my time. Disappointed.My local didn't know how to scan the Qr code so just gave it for free :)
I placed the order at my local store. Didn't see the ice cream machine was out of order as i was in the car. I got a refund for the regular price in CASH mind you so ill take my $3.20 to 7-11 and get me a golden gaytime instead…Winning!!!!
they charged me $1 dollar for sweet and sour sauces and gave me the sundae instead.
