  • Nice price - cheers OP

  • I like Xiaomi.

  • +1

Received mine last week, so far it's great.

Only complaint would be when you turn off your car (in my car radio stays on until I open the door) music stops and static noise starts.

    • +1

Then the complaint would be with your car I think.

      • nah, this works by broadcasting an FM signal which you then tune your car stereo to, you connect to the device using your phone's bluetooth.

It turn's on when you turn on your ignition, and off when you turn ignition off.

At this point it stops broadcasting FM signal, so your radio emits only static noise.

        • Yeah I know how it works but how is this the fault of the the device? Do you want your car to power your socket 24/7?

    • It is likely that radio stays on but your cigarette lighter socket turns off, so radio is just receiving a non existent radio reception = static

      • yeah, that's what I was saying. My car's stereo stays on until I open car door.

        • Lol actually I wanted that for me. Mine stays broadcasting even when ignition is off. Some car models do not turn off power to cigarette lighter sockets even after ignition off. Could drain battery over time.

    • Same here, was worried about a static reception along with music as I have experienced before with some cheaper models(possibly bad earthing). All good so far.

  • Told my friend about my Roidmi. He liked it so much I just ordered another one for him.

  • Finally managed to order before code limit was used up. Thanks

  • Got one of these and the sound quality over FM was pretty ordinary, even if I tuned it in to a channel with no interference. The poor sound wasn't due to interference, it just couldn't seem to hit the high notes, it would distort.

  • Grabbed one to test. I already have Bluetooth in my car via the head unit, but it doesn't support Bluetooth Audio, only hands-free. Will I be able to still use that for talk and this device for music streaming? Cheers!

    • Nah, you can't use it for talking, it doesn't have a microphone. The roidmi 2s has a mic.

      • haven't tested it yet, but doesn't it use your phones mic for taking, and then you hear call through car stereo?

        • No it doesn't it only rings through the stereo, once you answer it goes through your phone only

      • Cheers!

  • Thanks Morri bought one.

  • Oops missed out.

Sorry, your coupon has exceeded the maximum limit for usage.

  • Just to confirm, what does the Bluetooth function actually do? Like you plug this in your cigarette lighter then pair to it then what?

    • It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and then transmits the audio to an FM frequency so you can listen via your car radio.

    • It transmits music to an FM frequency. So to use, set your radio to a channel that is not in use.

  • Shit I just made a rookie mistake :( Bought it in a hurry and forgot to apply the code :( Paid $18. FML…

    • Code doesn't work anyway.. expired.

    • Cancel it

    • If it's any consolation, the deal has expired - the coupon doesn't work anymore.
