    Do these actually work?

Yes. I bought one a few weeks ago and it works great. My only issue so far is that mine interferes ever so slightly with some of the other radio channels - but having said that the antennae on my car is [email protected]#ked

      •

have you tried changing the frequency it uses? - you can only do it with the downloaded app on your phone / tablet.

        •

thanks for the tip didnt know you could i'll check out the app… was only an issue when i cut through geelong a few weeks ago …was jumping between my phone and what sounded russian.. or some drunk shouting on the cb possibly…

Is this some sneaky way for gearbest to get their name into the OzBargainers main page?
Releasing a coupon code for less than 1 hour just to push lightinthebox further away.

    •

      Puts on tin foil hat.

Wait … this is what competition is all about isn't it?

LITB accidentally reduce the price from US$11.99 to $US8.39; we jump in and take the rest of the coupons.
Gearbest figure if LITB are willing do that price, we will go lower.

      Everyone on Ozbargain wins :).

60cents cheaper than litb is lame and for less than 1 hour is double lame.

Tried to ask support for a new one. No luck.

I must have been lucky last

  •

Do these pair with a special app with regards to monitoring battery voltage? Cant see any indicators on the device itself.

    • +2 votes

An app called ‘ROIDMI’ is used to monitor battery voltage, along with changing the frequency of the FM transmitter and changing the LED light indicator colour

      •

the ROIDMI app also updates the firmware on the device.
