        No idea. Some people in this thread have mentioned poor feedback in terms of the nonstick coating and I found this: https://www.productreview.com.au/p/le-creuset-tns-frypan.htm…

        The fact that the non-stick coating isn't covered under the lifetime warranty is ridiculous. Especially considering that cooking in damaged non stick pans involves risk of consumption of known carcinogens, given that flakes could easily make their way into food. The traditional Le Creuset would replace a product without question. There are stories of people replacing pots and pans that are 50 years old by contacting Le Creuset, yet we have a review here of a person who bought a lower-end line being refused service on a product 11 months in.

        I can't say anything for sure, given I'm basing my thoughts off these anecdotes. I'd honestly just save up and buy the real thing, it'll last generations and these may not. Sure the cost is higher, but these are products you'll never have to buy again if you get it right the first time.

  • On-hit KO?

    Bulletproof?

  • Was the deal incorrect or a price error?

      Tough to decide from those 2 options

    • Some of both but definitely neither

  • I didnt clear my shopping cart after failing to pay for one pan. They just sent me a "Did you forget something" email with corrected price over $100. Lots of products back in stock now with corrected price so I don't think they are going to honor the mistakes

      Now days Made in China is considered low qualities but History will repeat itself

      Aside from cultural differences, the Japanese take pride with what they do.

      • What makes you think that the Chinese don't?

          Quantity over quality. Chinese spirit.

          @josepet:
          Aren't we talking about now and the future?
          So does XiaoMi and Huawei fit in your 'Quantity over quality' category?
          What about that iPhone or Galaxy you are using or that T-shirt, Jeans or shoes you are wearing?
          The Chinese are known to try to make a quick buck by making low quality stuff on the cheap I agree but it all comes down to what you are willing to pay.
          If you are willing to pay the premium then you'll get quality Chinese made stuff likewise if you pay peanuts don't turn around and say Chinese made are low quality because essentially you get what you pay for.

        • @Sainter4Life: that (that you have mentioned) has NOTHING to do with "chinese"quality (by choice) - that is because the quality is controlled by clients / etc overseas say in USA or Europe - even designer brands like gucci prada & the likes have product made from/in china = but they are so strict with quality they threaten the companies in china with contracts like - (profanity) up one label and you're done for life type - so it's not by choice.

          given a choice , it definitely would be $$$$ or quantity over quality - look @ the milk powder and local product scene in china - so many reports of for example local xiaomi knockoffs sold to own local people exploding etc.. if they really cared about quality - they WOULD already have taken over the world / be like japan by now - it's a cultural "look after myself and my pocket first" mentality that is slowly evolving as they (current and previous generation) send their offsprings overseas to learn / work and return and assist in the evolution of society and what 1st world countries call living standards…

          @porkupine888:
          So you mean companies like XiaoMi and Huawei does not represent good quality by choice?
          I simply included Apple and Samsung to prove that China can make quality products as many seems to think that all Chinese made is bad.
          As I have mentioned above, I agree that the Chinese has been known to try to make a quick buck and look after their pocket by making low quality goods on the cheap.
          I also agree that they have a long way to go especially in the local market however, goods exported out of China are often with much higher standard and quality.
          This is what we are talking about right, things made in China that are exported and sold overseas?

    I'm not sure if I'm missing something, I can see that the 3 items listed are Out of Stock, but the cost posted don't seem to be reflected on their site. I don't see anything valued at $20, etc.
