Doubt it. It's not just the cost of ingredients. There are like 20 other things that make up the cost. Packaging, refrigeration, factory rental, labour, management, food safety inspection/ compliance, plant, transport costs etc.
Factory made fresh food (not frozen) is more expensive to handle as compared to store made food. I doubt they make more than $0.50- $1 EA on the sandwiches.
I studied the viability of setting up a franchise system where the meals would be semi-prepared fresh daily centrally (factory) with the aim of being cooked at the store with minimal effort (delivered multiple times a day to ensure minimal wastage and offer a fresher consistent product). Turned out even if you could scale it to save individual store cost you still ended up losing those savings with other costs.
