  Bought one of these last time, after a week the ball joint would no longer hold the phone in position and it kept dropping every time I hit a patch of rough road.

  Took it apart, shimmed the silicon friction pad, after another week, same thing. The ball can also pop out of the socket.

  Unless the ball joint can be locked in position then it's going to suffer the same thing as all the other cheap ball jointed holders.

  Definitely not worth the RRP and from my experience not worth $2.82 either.

  What is the max weight loading on this? I have an Amarok, will it be able to hold that?
