HTC 10 comes down to $283.50 after applying 10% off discount code (TECH10). Only Black and Silver colours left (32Gb only).

I have this phone and have been very satisfied with it. Great price for an older model phone that still keeps up. 10% off deal applies to all Amaysim phones if you're after something else. Products from Amaysim are grey imports so it will come with an overseas charger and adapter.

5.2 inches 1440 x 2560 pixels LCD Display

32GB (expandable up to 256GB)

Amaysim has notified that this is actually a listing or pricing error, and customers are being offered a choice of receiving a HTC 10 Evo at no additional charge.

Please note that the HTC 10 Evo is a very different phone and has significantly different specifications from the HTC 10.

btw still no answer wheres the too many deals?

  • Wow great deal, still an amazing phone!

  • amazing value!

  • Great phone,crazy good price

To each their own, I actually prefer phones that do not have their branding on the front

    • For what it's worth, any phone I've had that had double tap to wake has not been able to do the same to turn it off. Perhaps accidental recognition would be too frustrating if it were turning off sporadically.

      • +2

On lg g4 and v20 a double tap on the notification bar will lock it

        • And the G3…

      • Even the cheap Axon 7 mini can double tap to sleep.

        • A quick search shows it's entirely possible with a variety of launchers.

        • @cyssero:
You're right. I'm using Nova Launcher Prime.

    • Someone wants to keep up with Joneses.

    • +1

wow, your LG G4 still alive. that's amazing

      • It died but was fixed by LG Australia (was Oz stock). Running like new now, but still not as nice as the HTC 10 :)

        • does it have the logo on front?

        • -1

@stockastics: Go ahead and neg my comment mate, as if I care. I was just stating my opinion and trying to provide a bit of useful info as well.

    • -1

Use screen off app to make it sleep.

    • My pixel 2 must be pretty crap in your eyes too

  • +2

Amazing deal! That's my phone, I love it… Bought in May 2016, and I couldn't find a reason to replace it yet. Good specifications, battery, I like the design… HTC has great products but terrible marketing.

I got it as a replacement in kind for my lumia 950xl from jb hi-fi and had it since October last year. Super reliable and fast phone. UI is clean as well. Don't think I'll be changing for another 2 years if it continues this way.

Android Enjoyed have same in grey for $247. However, are you comfortable dealing with Android Enjoyed?

    • +26

No one should ever be comfortable in dealing with Android enjoyed, it’s a borderline scam. The reviews are terrible.

      • +12

Exactly, they're also permanently banned on OzB.

        • terrible stories about them on Whirlpool, too.

      • -5

Luck of the draw for me. I actually ordered my tablet with them. Working very well everyday for the past year now. :)

        • +1

You’re one of the lucky ones then!

        • +5

@doweyy: I take that back… I actually bought from buymobileau

        • @harkoliar: did you o ky get the negative after posting the second comment?

        • Looks like it

    • That's the HTC 10 Evo with a Snapdragon 810.

  • +1

Bought this for my girlfriend 18 months ago. Still going strong except for the headphone jack which is a bit worn. Great design and camera for the price!

    • +5

At least it has a headphone jack ;)

      • So Wierd that that's a feature now! Always good to have wired when you've misplaced or haven't charged your Bluetooth headphones.

  • +4

I just upgraded mine to run Android Oreo and it runs beautifully. I decided to buy one for my girlfriend. Just couldn't pass up the bargain.

    • Was it an OTA upgrade or did you flash it yourself?

      • I flash it myself, a bit fan of the Leedroid roms personally. Updating to Oreo as we speak.

  • -1

Cheers bought one why cheap am I gonna use it no do I care nah ozbargain helping average joes become hoarders since 06

  • +1

(profanity) - great camera, gets 88 on DXOmark: https://www.dxomark.com/htc-10-camera-overview-a-great-all-r…
    Great deal OP nice find

  • Good phone, I would've grabbed one if not OnePlus 5T I got two weeks ago…

  • +12

Thank you very much and to everyone here who commented. Reading the comments and reviews convinced me to buy this phone! Excited first time HTC user!

    • You will love it.

    • Don't forget to wipe the rear camera lense before you take any pics! It's a major grease and dirt magnet and the photo quality suffers terribly if you don't clean the lense.

It's a good camera but be aware the colours are on the natural side but you can easily edit this in the gallery app (Google photos)

  • Will this be a good upgrade to the Redmi Note 3 Pro?

    Thanks.

edit - obviously what a stupid question to ask lol

    • +3

What the profanity is that even a question

      • +1

        Yeah I bought it lol

  • Amazing phone and an even amazing price. Good find OP

  • This or the ZTE Axon 7 from OW (gold $355 can't find any silver left)??

    • Wondering this too….. I like the ZTE complimentary cover….. anyone have a recommendation between the two?

      • +1

You'd take this all day long - the camera is better, it's version of Android is more like Android, there's more support.

The ZTE has fancy speakers, but I think many are questioning its build and component quality. Speakers are the best.

        • +1

          But no dual SIM :(

        • +1

@CVonC: along with no 2 year complimentary accident cover, no local warranty, no google daydream, and no possibility of a low power smart cover being that it's not amoled. Also only 32Gb and not 64 like the ZTE. Also the screen is a bit smaller but that could be an advantage.

  • Good price on a old flagship phone.

Wonder if I should upgrade the old Moto G4 Plus to this.

    • Yeh u should and sell ur one for some extra cash

  • This is really good deal for anyone who wants a great phone at a budget price.

  • Great price.

  • How does this phone, Xiaomi A1 and Iphone6 stack up in terms or speed and camera quality?

    Thank you

    • +7

Xiaomi A1 is mid-end. This HTC 10 on the other end is a flagship, and is somewhat comparable to a Samsung Galaxy S7 or an LG G5.

So it's up there with the $400~500 dollar phone segment.

However you will give up dual SIM, most Xiaomi phones have dual SIM support.

      • +1

        Thank you mate
you are very knowledgable about phones !

        • A1 is also a stock Android phone which is the main selling point of the phone. It has a camera typically found in flagship phones with its 12MP dual camera 2x optical zoom.

    • this has much better photo quality than iphone 6, and even iphone 7.

  • +1

I've had this phone for almost 2 years now and it hasn't missed a beat! Only downside is (being picky)- lack of cool cases (lol) and not water resistant.

  • How does this compare to nexus 6p? I have a 6p and are very happy with it but the screen has a crack in it.

    • +3

If you care about photography, you will gain the feature of optical image stabilisation (making for less blurry shots if you have shaky hands) and videos will be less jerky. You also get SD card expansion slot.

You lose AMOLED display however and get a slightly inferior Super IPS display

You'll gain performance with a newer and more efficient (and running cooler) with a Snapdragon 820. The battery is smaller but that's kind of offset by the fact that the chipset uses less power.

  • +1

    Excellent find, thank you OP.

I was in the market to replace my HTC One M9 (because after 2 years the battery is showing sign of drain) and this is a great price for an excellent phone. I have always been very impressed with the HTC phones from my earlier days with an HTC Incredible to the M9.

    Ordered…

    • Did you receive the shipping information?

  • +2

Absolutely amazing deal OP. My aging M8 is still hanging in there but this is such a good price…

  • Always wanted a red HTC. Dang, missed it again…

  • If I didn't have a new Mate 10 Pro I'd be all over this.

  • I wonder how long the shipping would be?

  • +1

Amazing price for the htc10, I got mine on a grey import last year to upgrade from my M7. I'm really happy with it.
It OTA updated to Nougat when I first powered it on, then just got Oreo OTA a week or so ago (unlocked phone on kogan mobile).

    • +1

Most recent or current phones yet to update to Oreo and may never.

      • I know HTC released oreo for their newer phones first, but I'm not much of a fan of those. No 3.5mm headphone jack is a deal breaker for me.

  • All sold out! :(

  • Oh damn already sold out

  • Partys over

  • +1

Missed out because I was deciding on which colour, finally decided as it went out of stock :(

    • Should have bought 1 of each colour and sell the ones you don't like. But then you might fall in love with all of them :P

  • Great price for a solid handset.

  • If you have polarised sunnies, you can't see the screen when held upright.

    • +3

Not necessarily. The HTC 10 used two different panel manufacturers. The Sharp display (which I had) was perfectly fine with polarised sunnies. The Tianma one on the other hand, you can't see with polarised sunnies on. It's a gamble though because estimates on Xda say that chances of getting a Sharp panel are around 33%

    • +1

      then take off your sunnies?

  • what is the aussie stock retail price though?

  • +1

Awesome phone. I've been looking to replace the one I have now but haven't been able to find anything that matches it's value, quality headphone output and overall tank like build quality.
It's also worth noting that the Oreo update rolled out for these a couple nights ago.
