40% off is pretty much a great deal for any msrp watches.
For reference, Bruno Söhnle uses a decorated Ronda for their Quartz and ETA for their mechanical watches so I've read. In effect, this is not really a german watch per se as they only need to reach 50% to be classified as made in Germany. Glashütte by name, Swiss by heart.

No deal for me. Their entry level automatic uses sellita 200; a decent entry level movement. for 1k aud+ after 40% RRP - no way. with that money id rather get a hamilton or a tissot

Now I've had time to look properly, I confirm there are some nice designs in the collection. The quartz models are still a bit too expensive, though.
