    LOL I can't help but laugh the at memory last year when I queued for a TV. Most of the people there were after $10 fans.

    Great price, two fans directly at you is a great substitute if you don't have an air conditioner or you are like me and get too stingy to use the air con when its not hot enough ;)

        Get a cheap atomiser spray bottle from…well, anywhere…and fill it with cool water, when it gets too hot just spray some mist between you and the fan. Et voila, poor man's evaporative cooling! :D

    Bought a fan from Big W for about $11-12 (looks to be pretty much identical). $10 is hardly a specific bargain (nor worth my time going to an Aldi)….

    I've been looking these fans And it seems they are all the same Fan Just they just come in about 15 different brands/boxes ranging from $9.99 to $25 I wonder if anyone can beat aldi?

    Not a bargain same price at Kmart, Big W, safeway and coles also have them on special every second week!

    Aldi has most of their SPECIAL items out on a wednesday night before - so why you queue up on a thursday morning?

    I should load up on a couple of these fans for the summer heat. We have ducted aircon which is is great but it costs soooo much electricity to run that we sparingly use it, which kind of defeats the purpose of having it in the first place!
    I don't wanna sweat my ass too much.
