    SARB065 Cocktail time turned up today. Fantastic watch, couldn’t be happier (had to sneak it past the sentries).
    Next thing is to find a replacement strap for the rather weird hybrid that it came with.
    Looking for a half decent leather strap that will not diminish appearance, but won’t break budget or fall apart quickly. Let’s say budget is $25 to $50.

      Dressier style bands aren't my forte. I suggest you find the Cocktail thread on WatchUSeek and have a look around. I have seen them on perlon straps for casual wear and they look pretty. Only Eulit make decent perlon straps. Cheap ones are far inferior.

    So Seiko have announced these popular models are now discontinued after 10 years in production. What timing. Good work people who picked up a real bargain because prices have shot up dramatically.

      Yes, and Seiko seems to be downgrading many of their mid-tier watches from 4R to 6R movements. If only they would upgrade their base models so they can at least be hand wound. SKX is falling behind.
